About IAPA

The International Association of Audiology Physicians

Audiovestibular Physicians IAPA is an association of audiovestibular physicians. Doctors in audiovestibular medicine (AVM) investigate, diagnose and manage hearing, balance and communication disorders in adults and children from birth onwards.

IAPA was formed in 1980. The Association has a written constitution, with the clear aims of:

  1. Spreading knowledge of best clinical practice in audiovestibular medicine.
  2. Sharing research, ethics and education in the field of audiovestibular medicine.
  3. Promoting international co-operation between AVM and other, related specialties.

The IAPA Bulletins provide an account of past Executive Committee meetings and General Assemblies. They can be found under the categories of ‘Executive Committee Meetings‘ and ‘General Assemblies‘.
