Welcome to the New IAPA Website!

Welcome to the new IAPA website. It’s a little bit different to the previous version, both in terms of its general appearance and its structure. There’s more members-only content and we’d value contributions from more members, too.

Journal Access

You can access the Journal of Hearing, Balance and Communication Disorders from the members’ area. Also, a new bookstore, offering discounts on a range of textbooks.

Log in to the IAPA Website

To access the members-only area from the public pages, select the pink button at the foot of every page (‘Members Sign in’), the pink ‘Log in’ button at the top left of the home page, or a pink button anywhere on the public pages. This will take you to a login page.

Use the log in credentials sent to you. You can change these after first use, we encourage you to do so for personal security reasons. If you’re already logged in, you’ll see a short welcome message with your Display Name. select your name, it’s a link which’ll take you to the members-only pages.

The first page you land on will be your personal profile page, where you can follow links to edit your profile information. Please also upload a square photograph, ideally compressed to 100 pixels square. Following the menu at the top, you can see some of your profile details in the Members Directory. Through this, you’ll be able to search and reach out to other members.

Blogs and Member Content

You’ll find we also have a section for blogs. We’d like as many members as possible to use this area, both to post your own articles or to comment on those published by others. The public-facing pages show most blogs but not all. If the category is set to MEMBERS ONLY or a sub-category of that, then the public see only a snippet. Only members may comment on other blogs and we encourage you to do so. Comments are restricted to the first 45 days of publication. Other visitors can see the comments but not respond themselves.

Search for blog content by date, content or category/tag.

Similarly, events are advertised to members and the public..

Any glitches, errors or malfunctions, please contact the Executive Committee via the message icon at the bottom right of every screen.
